Paolo Tagliaferro was born in 1981 in the province of Vicenza. Self taught painter, he graduated in 2007 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Verona. Since he was very young he is passionate for renaissance and Flemish painting, he refined his technique copying the great Masters, in particular Caravaggio, by whom he learnt the lights and shadows control. Caravaggio deeply influenced his painting. The pictorial crop is the one to catch and suggest again the reality as it is felt, without mediations of interpretative filters. Since 2000 he took part to various exhibition, such as the exhibition about Futurism, "I'm futurist, I paint the speed" at the Palladian Basilica in Vicenza.
