PERCEZIONI RELATIVE

Throughout his research on Time-Space-Matter, which Eros Bonamini performed with great energy, the painter investigated every conceptual aspect, every type of intervention pertaining to matter. Each experiment gave life to works in which signs symbolize a transformation process by which each trace shows the passing time. But perhaps these works are even more intense. The signs and traces, which are characteristic of Bonamini’s work but original in their execution; new traces, new signs which, through matter’s combustion and transformation, create three-dimensional spaces as yet undiscovered. I admire the defacement of matter by fire, this steel which bends to the will of heat reminding us of deformed and kaleidoscopic images.
